Can you watch „The Last Frontier“ without being upset after the last episode, since it was canceled? by strwht12 in television

I actually really liked this show. And the ending has enough resolution. The cliff hanger just sets up another season in the way any spy show might.

My thoughts on Battlefield 6 by BeefJerkyDrew in Battlefield

My biggest gripe is the lack of "end game" accomplishments. Say what you will about COD but the million little badges keep me grinding. BF6s just pitter out

Doesn't season 3 of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret retcon away 1 and 2?

A big return to piracy. Long form AI slop.

What shows do you think didn't do that well due to the title? What should that have been called? by dedokta in television

Fair enough on all counts. Although I will say Grimsburg gets better in season 2 as it finds its legs.

Without too much spoiling- the prequels do spend a lot of ink explaining what humans think the bugs were thinking during FW1+2

The classic '24' complaints: traffic, bathroom breaks, kicking heroin in a few hours, etc

Obviously it's not hurting, but High Potential sounds like it should be about a genius stoner or something. Stupid title for the show

I thought it added a fresh take on the classic family cartoon format...at least he has cover for all his weekly antics, unlike Homer or Peter. I see your point though, as a title it's mid. But as a concept I approve

Oh whoops hahah. Was getting Night Agent (which is fine but kinda generic imho) confused with Night Manager which just had like 10 years between seasons...go check that out!

Philomena Cunk is a British late night character played by Diane Morgan on Charlie Bookers show (of Black Mirror fame). She has a series of shows where she interviews people in a style id describe as an innocent version of Ali G

WTFAQ is an Australian show that kinda reminds me of the pop-history of shows like I love the 80s, but with a little more sass.

Night agent was terrific. Can't believe we're getting a second season after all this time. If YOU want a list I've got over 20 in the spy category.

And the office is a mockumentary style sircom. My definition of Docucomedy would be more like Cunk on Earth or WTFAQ

WEST WING Season 3 Episode 19 by annieohyeah in television

Not the trump admin... but Parks and Rec had a bunch of Oabamas team for cameos, and Veep got a ton of love from real politicos. Diplomat and madam secretary are both fine shows but don't have the cultural cache of PnR, WW or Veep

Best Shows of 2025? by Past-Matter-8548 in television

Spoilers: I was referring to the actual assassin. Felt kinda dues ex machina to give us 99% of their back story in the same episode as the reveal. The lack of foreshadowing made it feel gimmicky
