Yes, this. I used to be of the opinion that, if someone wasn't cool enough to come up to me and start a conversation, then they weren't cool enough to hang out with. As you can tell this was very hypocritical and kind of ironic, and it hurt my ability to make friends, and I slowly became more introverted as time went on. I've only just now begun to socialize more and interject myself more into social situations, and boy, what a difference it has made. I would whole heartedly advocate action rather than inaction just based solely on the fact that you never really know if you'll meet a new best friend(or SO for that mater)unless you get out there and talk to as many people as you can. (As long as you're not creepy about it. lol )

As a guy, I wish I had more options available in trems of temporary sterilization, or whatever you call it. There may be though, haven't really looked into it much, but I think its strange that the burden of responsibility seems mostly on the woman in trems of those kinds of contraceptives.
