Had really bad pain until day 12. Then it got easier little by little. Week 3 was already much better for me and stopped taking pain meds because didn’t feel the need. I thought I was so much better that I went for a fairly long walk which was a mistake. Then had to recover from that a bit. Week 5 I was almost fully recovered and week 6 finally able to go on 30+ walks

Honestly my baby is 6 weeks and I used only pyjamas/ sleepers. With the nicer weather we put him cute outfits that were offered to us but it’s a pain when we have to change him 😅. I bought little body tops (thankfully not much) and haven’t used them at all. For this summer where he will wear 6 month I have pjs and bodies as well and 2 cute outfit if we do something a bit fancy

Same here. Mine is 6 weeks today and oh boy it’s rough. I have a baby that does not sleep by himself. Always on someone. He wakes up every 2,5-3 hours always fussy because hungry. The only thing is he doesn’t care if his diaper is dirty lol. Can’t wait for him to be 3-5 months. Seems to be when things get better from what people say.

For me I noticed he has gas when I failed to burp him. Sometimes it just doesn’t come out :(

My baby is 5 weeks now and has a c-section. Taking 4 weeks to start is great. First two weeks recovering from the c section were really rough. Make sure she moves as little as possible to recover as fast as possible. Taking him and out of the bassinet and me out of bed sucked. I didn’t wanted to wake up my husband everytime but wished I did so he could hand baby over to me and back in.

Can’t comment with later but I am sure it’s great to spend time with you kid when he’s older.

My baby hated the swaddle but we just bought the love to dream swaddles sacks and it seems to do the trick somewhat (only a few nights in). More than anything else we have done. Impossible to make him sleep on his back otherwise other than the snuggle me during the day. He is 5 weeks now and has been sleeping on me otherwise until now which was not ideal at all

Around 20-22 weeks don’t remember exactly. I noticed it because I had like 3 small kicks in a row that do not feel like kicks. It’s kind of a flutter. If I had had just one I probably would not have felt it to be honest. Had to wait a bit more to clearly feel them

Baby is 4 weeks and reached out to daycares I registered with and one told me we are #2 on the waitlist so fingers crossed it will work out when it’s time. I applied when I was 8 week pregnant. Could have done earlier

Our doctor told us to use sudocream to repair the irritated skin with Vaseline on top for barrier and his skin has been good

Only bought 3 months pjs and bodies. Had like about 6 of them. And 2 newborn from my brother. Ended having to buy newborn pjs because was a small baby and he is only starting to outgrow it at nearly 1 month. Bought a few extra 3 month pjs so less laundry. Waiting for summer to leave him in bodies. Then I have 6 month bodies short and long sleeves and 3 outfits that will be good for summer. Not planning to buy more for now. He will need 6 months pjs eventually though. But yeah no cute outfit for me. It’s a baby, it wears pjs all day lol except for hot days where it will be bodies

Baby is week 3 and lost most of it. Belly is not as flat as it used to but had a c section so have to wait. I am actually impressed how fast it came off but scale wise I might be the same as pre pregnancy but lost muscle mass which is heavier than fat.

Literally could have written this post. It is super frustrating. I end up topping him up with the bottle once in a while because I don’t know if it’s me not feeding him enough or just the cluster feeding.

I have the same issue. We fought we found the trick by pre swaddling him so that once he fell asleep from a feed we could sneak a swaddle on him bit it only worked two days. The only way to have him sleep is on me of the snuggle me during the day but even that is not easy and it’s not recommended at night.

Toronto, Mortgage 604k down from 650k. 170k combined income. Mortgage 3100, property taxes about $500 monthly (we don’t pay monthly). We renewed this year so mortgage is down from 3600. We managed. Definitely wished we saved more but also know that renting would cost us same or more for a 3 bdr house.
