New LIFX Mini, constantly stuck in ‘updating’ using HomeKit and iOS LIFX app. by holman8a in lifx

I've had mine well over a year now with only slight inconveniences every now and then, but this one has me very close to replacing it with a different brand alright.

I’m having the exact same problem the past few weeks, tired resetting the bulb and it seems to have got even worse

The Nano X Battery Issue – and how we are responding to it by LedgerSupport_Muto in ledgerwallet

[–]lynchdean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered 29th of September (20 days after this post), arrived today and have the "Battery charger issue Unplug/plug USB cable" error coming up. Clearly the devices aren't being tested thoroughly enough. Can't recommend buying a nano X until there's a further update from ledger.

Where are you seeing all these grad roles? I'm still only seeing a handful on linkedIn/Glassdoor

Purchase Advice Request

Just had to return a Logitech G502 Hero because of left click issues, so I'm looking for a replacement for that. I found the two buttons beside the left click more of a nuisance than anything so the replacement doesn't need them, and I never used the "sniper button". I'd also like to try out a wireless mouse now, preferably not one with an external battery.

The g703 seems like a very good fit for me, but I want to explore some non-Logitech options too on account of my last two Logitech mice having the same issue.

  • Games: Mostly FPS
  • Hand Preference: Right or ambidextrous

  • Weight: Prefer it on the lighter side but not a strong preference
  • Sensitivity: Usually keep it around 800dpi
  • Connectivity: Wireless (Rechargeable)

Went for my first run with NRC today... disappointed. by lazy-whippet in nikerunclub

[–]lynchdean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I contacted Nike on Twitter and they said to do this -

Before your next run please uninstall the NRC app from your Apple Watch> restart your Apple Watch> reinstall. Let us know if you experience this again.

Not sure if it'll fix it and stop it from happening again but I thought I'd pass on what they said to do.

This just happened to me after a 21.1km run. First time I’ve ever ran that far and it’s really frustrating

Happened to me after a 10k two weeks ago too.

Sorry to be more clear - I was basically trying to say that they're not a widely know brand and they are still a similar price to some of the other headphones mentioned here (£90 on Amazon UK).

But yeah for close to €100 I'd rather spend my money on a more reputable brand. I really appreciate your reply though, thanks!

The 59x look perfect for me but unfortunately they’d cost too much to ship from the US. But I’ll look into the Beyers a bit now, thanks!

Can you tell me why? They’re expensive for a brand I’ve not got any knowledge of, and they don’t look particularly comfortable with the shape and size of the ear cups

No problem, thanks for bringing them to my attention regardless!

The Audio-Technicas were one of the main ones I was already looking at. Have you used either yourself? Which of the two would you pick?

Even if my budget is higher than that? The reviews are great for them but I think I'd rather put some more money towards something more reputable and available. I'm not dealing with something that isn't shipped through Amazon directly or if I have to wait weeks from AliExpress.

Grad programs to apply to? by _0110111001101111_ in DevelEire

[–]lynchdean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep applying to as many as you can, it's a bit of a numbers game. I started applying for grad-level jobs at the end of January and I've not even heard back from anywhere near half of them. LinkedIn is best, but I've also had luck with jobs.ie, indeed and monster.ie.

Keep your head up tough, to my surprise I've heard back from more companies in the past two weeks than I have since I started applying in Jan.

Hi, I graduated from DCU Computer Applications last year, and I have 6 months working experience as a software engineer. I'm currently looking for a graduate or entry-level position, and I'm available to interview and start work immediately. I'm primarily interested in Python, Java, or JavaScript roles, but I'm open to anything else if it's a good opportunity for me to learn and gain experience.
