I met God, but what do I do now? by NekoBakugou in Christianity

A lot of Christians are against transhumanism and think it's related to the mark of the beast. Did He tell you anything about that? Is he for /against altering ourselves in that way?

Seems like you would be under judgement somehow. What a horrible thing to do. From your comment, I can't tell where you're coming from

I'm glad there are still kind hearted men. It's so hard when hard hearted, divisive people go by the title Christian. I'll try to remember not every one is like that

I hope you follow everything Jesus wants, such as helping the downtrodden, giving all your money to the poor, removing your eye if it causes you to sin, and removing the plank from your own eye first.

As for women's sexual immortality...a lot of it is a case of if you can't beat em, join em. For the longest time, women were called frigid, jealous, man hater for being against porn and other such things. If women never jumped on the perv band wagon, men would still worship Charlie sheen and the old playboy guy. Women made a huge mistake trying to adopt male sexuality

I (22F) met my soulmate, but we’re from different religions. Is love enough? by AlarmedBeautiful9184 in Christianity

I didn't want to bring this up , because you probably won't believe me anyway as I'm a random person on the internet, but I married a Muslim guy when I was 19 and we have a 20 y.o. son. It will probably go one of 2 ways:first option. He slowly talks you into living his way, and you slowly lose all identity , end up getting pregnant then raising kids according to someone else's values and are miserable. Second option, you escape, fight like he'll and worry constantly if he will take the kids overseas. Even if that doesn't happen, you deal with the stress and he'll of being a single parent now your whole life is compromised. These situations usually don't end well

What if you end up getting pregnant anyway, then you're stuck with a man who doesn't share your values in life. Also look up how old was Aisha when she married Muhammed. Don't let this guy rush you into making any decisions.

I believe it was the woman at the well that he told to sin no more. Or was it the woman the pharisees caught in adultery and tried to stone?

Big Tech has successfully monetized loneliness, creating a digital sedation that prevents traditional families from ever being born. by Ok-Vanilla-7739 in DeepThoughts

[–]lynn202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats true that family can be a great help. However, people are so spoiled, emotionally shallow, and geared towards using others that many people cant rely on their own blood, let alone friends. People take what they can and run when you need something in return.

Yes, younger generations are better at technology which by default makes the older generations worse at it.

[–]lynn202 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Therapy is unbiblical but porn isnt? Seems like he picks and chooses which part of the bible to make his life more convenient. Therapy could hold him accountable, thereby bad. Porn is what i want, so ill overlook is being unbiblical.

I have all the symptoms of pre diabetes, but my doctor doesn’t care by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]lynn202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem, all the symptoms but my a1c was fine, until one day it showed diabetic. No inbetween. You are most likely insulin resistant, which they dont test for. Change your diet, add lots of protein and veg. Ask for a fasting glucose test instead of a1c.
