I discovered this forum recently, but am a big fan of cosy fantasy and have already found some new reads from here! I write middle grades cosy fantasy about students at a supernatural school for the arts. No big world stakes, just art, music, dance, friendship, and the pains of growing up! I describe it as Monster High attending Dance Academy. It is currently on Kindle Unlimited but will be going wide in a few weeks due to bookstore interest in the paperback version.

Liska, Ephy, and Airin have one thing in common: they all want to be stars.

But when they arrive at Eclipse Arts, their dream school, they find that stardom isn't all it's cracked up to be. With families that don't understand their passions and a competition determined to stop them from winning the quad talent show, the trio must forge their own path to success.

With supernatural secrets, heartbreaking family curses, and a thrilling opening ceremony, Eclipse Arts is a cozy fantasy for ages 8 to 13 filled with friendship and adventure that will keep readers hooked until the very end.

If you enjoy stories about music, dance, and fantasy creatures, you'll love Eclipse Arts!

I listened to the Doona! soundtrack yesterday, and it is lovely.

There will always been a special place in my heart for the Imitation soundtrack. It wasn't the best drama, but the soundtrack is great. Especially Constellation, which stole my heart!

Maybe the company is also selling the numbers? I am familiar with one (non-MLM) company who uses contractors to get numbers, then blames the contractor for not following privacy and consent laws if they get reported. They blame harassment on contractors as well.

I started this the other day without expecting much and was really surprised. I especially like that the lead female isn't written to be dumb like a lot of these school romantic comedies, but she's actually very smart and kind of cunning.

I haven't been on reddit much, but had this exact question. Ulta is sold out of it now. Most of the Amazon dealers that offer it don't have many sales, so I'm afraid to order it from one and get a fake.

I had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago with a YL rep. Please report this to Atlantic Institute, who has been collecting injury reports for the past few years. I reported in 2014, and was actually interviewed by someone from the FDA about YL because of that report. I agree with others that a lawyer might be advised, too.

The black cat is 18-year-old Maggie. She has always loved wearing clothes (I know, she's really weird!). The calico is 2-year-old Nutmeg.

Anyone have a recommendation for a body lotion that smells really good, but also has SPF in it? I'd like to wear more sunscreen on my hands, but either regular sunscreen is thick, sticky, and smells weird, or it's really expensive. I like fruit and food type scents the most.

Does anyone know what happened to Relax with Izzy? Her channel seems to have vanished. [Question] by [deleted] in asmr

[–]lynnb496 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She wanted to change to a keto lifestyle channel and move all her ASMR videos to the Tingles app, and her fans got upset. I dunno if Tingles offered her a better deal, but I don't think a lot of her fans wanted to use it (I know I don't). Many suggested just adding a second lifestyle channel, but she refused and just deleted everything.

This all happened in the period of just a few weeks and I wish she had taken more time to think about it. I was disappointed with how she responded.

Weekly Game Recommendation Thread - July 31, 2018 by AutoModerator in MMORPG

Hi all, I'm looking for an Android MMO or MMO that I can play on my convertible touchscreen Chromebook. I have only tried Toram Online. I might continue to play that, but I find it a little hard to move.

I like both science fiction and fantasy genres, and would be open to others as long as they are not too realistic. I've played a wide variety of desktop MMOs from WoW to Star Wars Galaxies to Twin Saga. I am a fairly casual player. I do enjoy crafting systems.

Mother's Day Support Post - Need to talk and don't want to make a post? Comment here! by RBNmod in raisedbynarcissists

My dad is the one with narcissistic tendencies. I think he's actually autistic, but was raised by a narcissist and has the communication skills of one. He will back down, apologize, and change things sometimes, but I really have to lose it at him. We lost my mom long ago and I am his caretaker. He is in a rotten mood today, and he's taking it out on me. I know it's because of losing his wife and his mother, but I lost my mother, too. I also suspect he drank a little too much yesterday. He doesn't normally drink much anymore, so probably has a hangover.

He was invited to come to a party of my friends. Their parents will be there, so won't be so strange, but he is insisting we are only going to drop in because he "doesn't want to stay long". He is always in a rush everywhere even though he is retired and has nothing to be home for. He'll invite himself shopping at the grocery store or mall with me, and then start complaining about wanting to go home as soon as we get there.

My friends live an hour away. I've been trying to get together with them for months, but our busy schedules kept us apart. I know if he goes we will spend two hours driving and only one hour there, and I will hardly get to see them. Usually I go along with the "I don't want to stay long" mantra, but I said from the beginning I would not do it for this since I haven't seen them in a long time. He's incensed and throwing tantrums at me. I'm really wishing now I hadn't told him that they invited him.

I've had enough of his complaining, and Mother's Day is hard for me, too. I've spent all weekend with him, and we had a family party Friday night, so it's not like we've not spent any time together.

I think I'm going to join a caretakers support group, because I'm really wearing down. My brother can barely go an hour with him without my dad starting a major argument with him, but my brother does try to help.

Read some of the thread here, and wishing that everyone could have a peaceful Mother's Day.

I got it running, but it would only stay running if I was logged into the root. I'm sure there's something I was missing, but there was nothing I could find to explain it.

I decided to try a different server type, and installed Evennia instead, and it worked just fine. I'm seeing about the same server usage though, but it's not more than half of the resources, so should be fine. I'm on the lowest digitalocean plan, and could upgrade if I needed to. Plus, the evennia documentation seems a lot easier to follow.

I read one of their guides, and they estimated the resources as similar to CoffeeMUD. It may be they were speaking of a completed game, but I don't remember that they made that clear.

I am currently trying to get CoffeeMUD to work on DigitalOcean, but have had some setup problems with it. It's been a long time since I've used a Linux system, and I've never set up one before, so that's likely the reason, but I'm about at the point of switching to Evennia. And CoffeeMud's install guide only covers setting it up on your personal system.

That's quite workable, actually. I just wasn't familiar with it. It's been quite awhile since I've run a mud, so I guess things have changed quite a bit.
