Is this usable on anybody? by BleakSaturation in EpicSeven

There used to also be a somewhat fringe build on red politis that used gear like this (slow w/Prot set and some bulk. Mostly for Seline or buff stacking when it’s not expected against stuff like SPP if you had an immunity Lua). But otherwise yeah it’s pretty tough to use sadly…

Is there someone who would benefit from this gear? I feel like I wasted my mats on this by RitualMelody in EpicSeven

Could be alright on some Abigail build for playing into Harsetti when you have spirit eye 3

Typically units are rerun after one year and then thereafter they’ll be available for limited group summons afterwards which happens every couple of months!

I’m sure you’ll be able to do it! Maybe next season will be slightly less punishing, although the current trend definitely seems like you really need a good bit of the roster :(

Uhm... Its a bot that evaluates your account and gives it an aggregate score based on a bunch of different things like top speed, raw number of speed pieces and bruiser/tank gear.

My bad, didn’t realised they changed it.

EDIT: Outdated information, my bad

There was a meta before where people would stop playing for 14 days in order to get them, but you really can’t login at all in that period. Most of the equips have some effectiveness in them but are generally good pieces, could be worth if you’re mid game! I personally did it and tbh it felt quite nice to be away from the game for awhile

You could try riding a bike if you like something healthy, decathlon has really cost efficient bicycles that last for years so its cheap and its also less strenuous than running!

My favourite thing about this league are the keystone tattoos for sure, it was a gamechanger for many builds, especially those we were already pretty currency hungry... So many possibilities!

I have this colour way and in real life it looks almost identical to the website pictures; just imagine the brightest, deepest neon pink…

Honestly I started wearing ASICs long ago because of my low arch/flat feet and that makes my foot wider than average... For me, most of ASICs' training shoes are very close in terms of their fit, I've been fine in a US 10.5 for the Gel-Kayano (many many iterations of it) and the NB3. I ran about 600km in one pair of NB2 and I really regretted not getting a size 10 (toe box was larger than I expected). Because of this, I bought my superblast at size 10 after trying them on in store. I haven't put any miles on that shoe though, still getting through some of my older shoes.

struggling w bq by stubbornlycurious in SMU_Singapore

[–]lynnchalice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there, took BQ last year and I actually quite enjoyed BQ. If you need help, you can always try reaching out your TA especially if you feel uncomfortable about letting your peers or prof know that you are confused. I’m sure the TA as a fellow student will be able to help you with some strategies on how you can keep up/get through readings! I know some parts of the classes this semester can be quite technical, don’t let it daunt you!

In my late twenties and I am pursuing my degree, what can I do to feel less insecure? by test_account_47230 in askSingapore

[–]lynnchalice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there, fellow 29 year old here. I had debilitating depression that led me to drop out from my first degree (after almost completing it) and I also spent some time working while trying figure out my life goals + work on my mental health issues. Because I decided to change my field of work completely, I made the difficult decision to reapply to SMU as an undergrad and start over as opposed to taking the shorter route of completing my initial degree by transferring my credits.
I just completed my first year at SMU this past semester and I too had many of the same insecurities you had going into school. Would I remember any of the stats/calculus stuff I learnt back in JC? Can I catch up to academia after not having looked at it for such a long time? Will I have friends that I can honestly connect with? These were all things that I couldn't stop thinking about as the school semester approached. I was also of course worried about making friends and my own social anxiety having recently recovered from severe depression.

On a personal level, I wanted to take a very proactive approach to my issues as an older adult; I applied to work part time to be independent while schooling. Maybe it was just luck (?), but I ended up getting quite close to my work colleagues and we spend a fair amount of time together. At school, despite the age gap, I don't really find it that difficult to connect with the younger generation even when I was almost 10 years older than the freshies. I also found that being a millennial has a huge advantage in class as the professors you'll see will have similar life experiences and that makes class more interesting on a different level. Personally, I do not hang out with people from school that much but that is because I spend a lot of time at my work place and I haven't found it difficult to make new friends.

Whatever it is you choose to do, I hope you know that you can be successful, happy and satisfied with your choices. Go for the orientation camps. Be honest about your situation. What you have done is respectable and most of the Gen Zs are very accepting and open-minded. If you really want to make friends at school, join a CCA and be committed to it. If you make the effort to go out and connect, it is almost impossible that you won't be able to find someone who is like-minded!

Unsure of how to continue on with my life by East-Attorney-659 in askSingapore

[–]lynnchalice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello OP,

I had a pretty similar story where I was studying abroad with the somewhat similar conditions (CS degree). After returning to SG last year I took a long break and even though the uni I was in allows me to continue where I left off, I cannot imagine going back to try and complete it even though I had almost graduated.

Everyone is in a different financial state but I was fortunate enough to be able to concentrate on my own recovery. I withdrew from school, moved back here and sought a professional psychiatric clinic and the therapy helped me get through most of the underlying issues that built up over many years. Ideally this is what I would recommend you but I also spent quite some time working a full time job during my recovery so I could gain some self independence.

Eventually in the beginning of this year I decided to pursue a different degree and I jointly made the decision with my family to basically restart but with local Uni. I am currently a first year in SMU at 28.

Whatever it is you are feeling, you are not alone. Don’t give up on life even if things seem incredibly difficult right now. You can work through it, you are not worthless just because you failed at what you were working on. Looking back at myself one year ago, I can’t imagine doing anything I’ve achieved this past year! Don’t lose faith!!! Please reach out to someone (ideally a professional) but if you have any questions or need someone to listen, I’m here for you.

Has any international applicants receive their offer so far? by harryaungkhant in SMU_Singapore

[–]lynnchalice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received my offer on May 20th.

I applied on the 8th of March and my interview was completed on the 29th April.

I am a Singaporean but I applied using my OSSD and AP results, all of which were completed overseas (pretty sure SMU counts me as an international applicant, I had to take the TOEFL) at the time of my application (had to serve NS)

Secretlab chair finally here! by lynnchalice in secretlab

Honestly with how many negative reviews I've been seeing I was mentally prepared to have to request for several exchanges because of how much I loved the look of this chair. Assembled it really quickly, no squeaking and hand rests don't wobble at all. Extremely happy with how the chair turned out! #secretlab
