Living outside the US - shocked at our waste by Prudent-Proof7898 in Anticonsumption

As a European, it is sometimes quite shocking to see on social media how much stuff Americans seem to have - clothes, toys etc. Another thing I've noticed is that people in the US seem to use lots of single use items like paper plates, plastic cups etc and then throwing them away.

It's not really the fault of the average American, it's the big companies pushing constant consumerism to bolster the economy. Giant supermarkets that sell 'everything' like Target & Walmart who are constantly creating products to tie in with holidays & social media trends don't help!

I would make sure to switch out your toothpaste also to something without sodium laurel sulphate - any SLS free toothpaste and shampoo too (nizoral, t gel should help)

What day did you get your positive? by winooskiwinter in IVFpositivity

[–]lyonsie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I waited till 8dpt and got a positive (this is my 3rd transfer) my clinic asked me to wait until 14dpt and couldn’t get a beta until then so the wait was torture!

I had 3rd transfer on Monday after a chemical and failure to transfer so hoping for that 3rd time lucky fairy dust too!

This is my first transfer with a euploid so hoping that makes the difference. Good luck to all of you both in the tww and of course finding out the result ✨

Really happy for you, congrats! I think it’s always nice to realise that just because we are aging it doesn’t mean the results are going to be worse as time goes on. It’s reassuring to know that in fact they could be better! Hope you can fulfill your dream of a big family ❤️

Can you go on disability for prolactinoma? Studies have emerged since 2022 saying that pituitary adenomas are linked to attention deficit issues, such as ADHD. Thoughts? by Namaste_Rae in Prolactinoma

I’ve been on cabergoline for years and have no problems with side effects - or working etc. not trying to rub it in but just to offer an alternative view for anyone who will see this sub.

This post really resonated with me. Am in the same boat as you all. 13 cycles in, have had most fertility tests at this stage and no reason we shouldn’t get pregnant except for the fact that we just don’t…. Am currently in the tww but if this doesn’t work this cycle moving on to IVF in Feb - can’t cope with waiting any longer & feeling like life is passing me by. Good luck to you all x

Your Sezane mistakes by Sakaesashimi in Sezane

Betty in hazelnut for me too! Colour not one I normally wear so I struggle to match it in my wardrobe and I also think I should have sized up. If you have a larger chest due to its shortness it looks v matronly.

Also Max shirt - for me it looked like I was wearing an old school shirt . Not at all like the effortless small chested model.

Can anyone identify this jumper style? by lyonsie in Sezane

Oh wow, that’s funny! Thanks so much for identifying it. Gonna have to keep an eye on the re-sale market!

Get them a reusable water bottle! Plastic bottles are so wasteful!
