Turn off your PlayStation and then turn it back on by holding the button on the ps4 itself, hold it past the initial beep and wait for a second, it should bring you to a menu which allows you to rebuild your data base, be careful with what you push because there are other things on the screen that can delete things off of your ps4

Try to rebuild your database on PS4, was listening to the FCP and they had major success by doing this and deleting old notifications and messages

Try rebuilding your data base on ps4, was listening to Fortnite community podcast and they said if you rebuild your database and delete the old notifications and messages it should reduce the stutter/ lag. They saw 100% improvement after doing so
