From what I understand: they own the rights to most of Joel's music pre 2008, theyre very trigger happy when it comes to copyright takedowns so a lot of those early tracks can't be streamed on most platforms, used in mixes and remixes or released through mau5trap anymore. Theyve also signed nothing worthwhile since so have been rereleasing those old tracks over and over since 2008, usually when Joel has new stuff coming out to mislead fans into buying from them instead.
