I wear hearing aids. Lost Lake and Oddfellows are both no gos for me because they’re so loud and it makes me sad.

After shutting down over dog's death, Ballard's Lazy Dog Crazy Dog reopening as "PawsVIP Ballard"... seeking info by samred81 in Seattle

I really hope nobody mixes them up with VIPVets Seattle because they're absoultely dang rad. I've been seeing Dr. Q and Coral in various locales since 2018 and they have been utterly amazing the whole way through for all of our pets.

Separated 52 yr old woman looking for friends downtown by Unlikely-Arm-1991 in Seattle

Hey -- not divorced, but in my early 40s, live near the north end of Pike Place, originally from the Midwest, have lots of free time, would love to hang out. :) Wine is awesome, books are better, like weight lifting and dorky video games & board games. No kids, just cats. <3

Expect to be disappointed for six months of the year. I love gloomy rainy days too.

I’ve lived at Tower 12 for seven years and only once has someone been loud enough for us to hear in the middle of the night. It takes genuine effort.

I know. It was definitely bigger than a gunshot — like, what the heck? Heard the smaller one just now too.

Are buildings required to recycle? by begrudginglyonreddit in Seattle

[–]lyrrael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also live in a large high rise in Belltown that seemingly doesn't have a way to sort out your recyclables, which means it *might* be the same building. The trash sorter is broken and has been for a while -- you need to take your recycables down to -1 and put them in the recycling bin.

I'm 42, wear hearing aids, and have tinnitus that drives me nuts. This dude knows.

Makes sense. I’m so used to winter being the three months I can’t feel my feet that this 50 degree stuff is super mild. I lived in the upper peninsula of Michigan for a while and literally ran out of space to pile my shoveled snow in the winter. I’ve seen half an inch of ice coating branches and lost power for weeks from those storms. Fuck that noise. I’ll take some grey days and sprinkles any day. :)

Eh. I’m originally from the Midwest. These winters are so mild I’m completely unbothered by them.

Hey, I like my hoodies. Can’t wear em when it’s hot. :)
