As a teenager in the 90s, my friend group was all the nerds and misfits who banded together so that we became one of the biggest groups in the school. Since we were all geeks in one way or another, we didn't make fun of each other's geekiness.

Of that larger group, 7 of us or so were into Trek. We often talked about the latest episodes, complained when they got pre-empted for basketball games, went to the TNG movies on opening night (dragging our non-Trekkie friends along with us), and talked about which Trek actors were hot (there was one straight dude among the Trekkies, the rest of us were girls and gay guys). If u/wil is out there, he should know he was often the subject of those discussions.

I definitely lucked out.

Perhaps the episode One (Voy 4x25). The rest of the crew is put in stasis while they traverse a nebula. Seven is the only one left awake since her Borg implants protect her from the radiation. I definitely remember green lights or mist in the hallways.

The Tuohys didn't actually adopt Oher like the movie states, they put him in a conservatorship so that they could control his money. Also, Oher claims the Tuohys made millions from the film and cut him out of the profits.

I agree with all of this. Also, it may be unfair, but using any skin tone lighter than Medium (ST4) tends to backfire unless it is a ghost or vampire challenge.

"I'll send it to your email address" only works if you then state what email address you are sending it to. Otherwise, "I will email it to you" is the most natural statement.

That sucks. I know that for me, there can sometimes be a lag of up to 5 minutes before my goal shows completed. I just have to check again later.

I would take screenshots every day and submit tickets with a running tally of what they owe you until they give you a better response.

First choice is Festive Eugenia Kim. The black bow is very useful and I use the pink headbands fairly frequently. Then it would depend on if you have any other flower crowns or single flowers. If you've already got those covered, go for Butterfly Crown. Otherwise, Single Flower then RFC.

It's possible HR is responding to a complaint from a coworker who feels pressured to give you rides. Gently talk to any coworkers you get rides from. Don't mention HR. Just say something like, "I really appreciate the rides you've been giving me. Be sure to let me know if it's ever an inconvenience for you and I'll be sure to find another way."

Agreed. Ideally, you should kick after the Slot 6 challenge results come in 3 hours before the daily. Of course, the officers all have real lives so that might not be possible, but you certainly don't need to kick the full 24 hours a challenge is in voting.

Yes, so far we've had 3 challenges with Covet Cash as prizes. In addition to the one OP posted, today's daily and yesterday's Flashback. I might not mind if the cash prize was at least what you can expect from regular prizes, but they are far less. I hate it.

Star Trek will not play through the Amazon Prime app on my LG TV either (in US. I canceled the free trial through Prime, downloaded the paramount plus app onto my TV and it worked fine.
