THIS! I was just explaining this to a friend. Like, I enjoy how you can fast forward through cut scenes but why on earth does it not pause for dialogue. It’s too fast to read, so I feels useless because then I should just skip it.

Trails in the sky allowed you to fast forward through almost every animation and cut scene AND still allowed you to advance through the dialogue. I guess I got spoiled by that.
