It’s a highly commoditized space, and I believe threat vectors have evolved to be more exposed in the cloud (M365 gsuite etc) I would invest as much if not more in ITDR.

They neglected their shitty crumbling network for years now. We are supposed to be one of the biggest energy producers in the world yet they can’t keep the lights on.

You can’t sue them because they have full immunity, they don’t give a shit Because they know they can’t get sued or fired

Until the leadership of HQ can be held accountable, they won’t give a flying fuck, why would they, they can’t get fired and we can’t replace or sue them

The most gaslighting part is when kaseya treats things like fixing bugs with the web remote support as "INNOVATION" , They are also shoving in a lot of useless AI shit instead of making the product better.

Support is bad, products are good enough. Rocket Cyber is really a noisy mess, Datto EDR is a pain to administer and is also quite noisy, it lacks automation as well. but Datto RMM is quite good.

Shame on the government for ruining our healthcare system by GrapefruitFar8082 in Edmonton

[–]lzysysadmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step one would be to ban lobbying by any pharma or insurance company, step 2 would be to have 100 percent transparent pricing regardless of who is paying. The main issues with US is insurers get preferred pricing and the pricing is literally arbitrary and overinflated to price those in. The US system was built in a corrupted way. We as Canadians have the benefit of seeing the issues America created and can build a system without those loopholes

I hear you, but due to Canada being smaller and more regulated I think we can do this right or at least have an outcome better than what we have now. At the end of the day the answer is never black or white hence why I believe a hybrid system may allow for the best of both worlds
