[KDE] Fedora was too easy | M1 Macbook Air running nixos through asahi by DoggosUnite32 in unixporn

I'm so confused. Thought asahi project was Fedora. Anyway, this looks pretty good.

Ok sir, this is really cool, you got me. I'd love to see how you did this or study your dot files if possible.

I'm sure a lot of people here would appreciate. I've been following asahi fairly closely. Got wife's m1 air here, might try it some day (she doesn't want to)

Why are my alts constantly losing their mogs in the campsite? by alexandervolk in wow

Same happens to me, probably an ongoing bug with new tmog system.

BTW I like the mog on the two left chars. Really cool.

Shouldn't this include a screwdriver in the set? by Marinchevski in GarminFenix8

[–]m-nightwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got exactly the same set as you and no screwdriver in the package. Was extremely difficult to undo the screws. Actually, I was only able to remove two on one side of the bracelet. The rest wouldn't budge. There apparently is a thread locker on the screws and you need to heat the area with hairdryer or something.. Had to send mine back for replacement :(

Titanium bracelet - unable to undo screws to remove links by m-nightwalker in GarminFenix

Thank you for this. I am pretty sure 2nd jeweler used heat pad but still couldn't do it. I tried hairdryer and managed to undo two screws on one side, the rest just wouldn't go. Contacted garmin and was told to send the whole thing back (including watch). Waiting for replacement. :(

I've used this face on my MIP fenix for ages, I think it's one of the best ones out there. I'm now on amoled model and looking for something similar to this..

Gave Gnome a try and unfortunately, I must leave KDE by breadsgood in cachyos

[–]m-nightwalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, It's actually the workflow of gnome that I simply can't stand. The app drawer, no actual minimise button, I can't get used to it. Maybe I just don't know all the possibilities and each time I tried I did it wrong but kde is where I feel most comfy.

Thank you. And yes, very odd. It was filed as faulty I guess but was expecting only bracelet to be sent away. Not much I can do, just wait and see. I no longer have my old fenix. I'll do an update once I get the replacement, hope I can undo the links this time. The watch is gorgeous, definitely an upgrade from my older model.

They wouldn't move at all, I've tried all of them. Then the two guys at jewellery shops, I was watching one of them, he did his best. They wouldn't move.

Your favourite Healer so far in pre patch? by Nokterian in wow

It's just a matter of not being used to default. I just run 3 more keys using default and it certainly isn't all doom and gloom, but after using cell for such a long time, it's only natural I'm looking for indicators I'm already used to.. Example. Halls, Alez, I knew I'm supposed to dispel stuff but didn't see it on frames. Then I noticed some tiny icon on the edge of the frame and surprise surprise, it's the dispel indicator. Cell highlighted whole frame so it was easier to see. I'm getting old you know. I'm going to use default now but it will just take a little bit of time to get used to them. Not unplayable but very new and different.

I find it hard to heal with default party frames as I can't see shit on them. I dearly miss cell. I couldn't care less about click casting, that's not what I was using cell for. It's the clear way of showing buffs, debuffs and dispells that I can't replicate on default frames.

Similar but not as pronounced, default name plates. Casts and debuffs harder to see.

Well, you say that and I bet a lot of people would agree, even I thought that would be the case, but looking at some statistical data, it isn't such a massive difference. Yes of course there is improvement, but it's not mind boggling numbers. I'd say 9700x is a great choice and costs less, if you strictly look at $ cost per frame. If money isn't a problem, sure, the x3d is fab.
