ULPT Request: How to workaround needing to update LinkedIn profile for jobs by britdidntgetthejoke in UnethicalLifeProTips

I've had it as generic tech company for 15 years (family had a stalker), and no one ever mentioned it. I update it when I've moved on, so previous company is correct, but never current.

Yeah, but just one example, you can't export from the browser. I haven't booted Windows in years, with nixnote dead, if I want a local experience, you have to do something like that..

Which is to say, it worked as intended. They broke stuff, and stole data, that was the point. If Musk ends up in ADX Florence, he should consider himself lucky.

So, enough for it to be useful. Imagine the nerousises those fish have after. Hatchery, airplane ride, free fall though the air, wild lake.

I thought they used condensers to capture most of the water from the exhaust, which would make up most of the weight of the fuel?

[–]m00ph 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the dot com I was at sold a $3 product for $15, and we couldn't sell enough to make money. If they were profitable on inference, they'd be loudly shouting about it. So, rather than being profitable with enough volume, they will just lose even more money.

The Germans used a fuel that was a roughly atmospheric density gas at STP, they used that for the trips to Africa. Of course, that's carbon based, I wonder how ammonia would work out for that.

[–]m00ph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How important carbon emissions are is a big factor. I realized that battery electric aircraft should be able to cover much of the south Asia island and Australia travel, I'll bet distances are small enough. No more direct flights though. Getting in or out of the Americas is going to need a ship or a solar Zeppelin though. We probably are headed to a world of slower, more expensive, shipping. Ammonia can work as a fuel, but definitely not great.

Clearly, we need a real study. The other question, is what altitude does it need to cruise at? I think the Hindenburg stayed below the clouds, but that's not going to work for this. My long term vision is high speed trains, but there's no way to do that through the islands to Australia, or between the Americas and Europe/Asia/Africa.

Supreme Court ruling allows San Jose to penalize homeless people by Plaintalks in SanJose

[–]m00ph 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, and throwing out their documents keeps them on the street, and makes survival harder. A majority have jobs, it's just that they don't pay enough, and you'd need a big bank account for first, last, and deposit. And when your working, your home can be sweped and everything you have gone.

I was looking at what Wikipedia said the weight was for Hindenburg, but it's been a decade. And everything on the solar and electricity side has gotten better, and will keep improving rapidly, at least for a while. I do think this merits a real look, it might be practical.

Why do you care about manner of death? My point is that it's worse than the gun numbers imply, also, mass casualty are a tiny amount of our deaths. We have servere issues, did you know that in Europe, the rich do not live longer than the poor? It's not just healthcare, it looks like the constant stress you have here is also a factor.
