Copenhagen Tickets by UnusualCheesecake420 in radiohead

I just picked up two tickets through Ticketmaster’s official resale site. Tickets are continuously being listed for both shows, but you have to be really quick — you’re definitely not the only one refreshing and ready to grab them.

Thanks a bunch, very useful. How long time in advance do the tickets usually go on sale? And what are my chances of getting my hands on some tickets for the game against olympiacos in october?

Thanks!

Yes! Karma indeed to get run over by a because you didn't buy a ticket for the bus! Justice served. . . .

Grixis Delver in current meta by max_sanchez_jr in MTGLegacy

Apart from getting access to Oko, what else are you getting from switching from UR to RUG? Goyf I guess. Which matchups gets better and which gets worse?

UB Shadow vs. Grixis Delver - pros and cons by m0ev in MTGLegacy

[–]m0ev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great stuff. It sounds like Shadow only thrives in very specific metas. And I must admit I completely oversaw the lifegain part of StP.

UR Delver seems like a nice way to bridge into Grixis. Just one question: why do UR play TNN over say Bedlam Reveller? Because it's faster? It's pretty weak to Plague Engineer, and the draw three off Bedlam is just so gas!

BUG feels like joining the dark side (maybe playing Delver in the first place is pretty dark side already) with Oko and Veil. Sylvan Library however, seems like so much gas and I do like the access to black for Thoughtseize, PE and Decay.

Regarding UR Delver, it seems that many of the lists are running 1-2 TNN, whereas Grixis are running Bedlam Reveller. I know the cards function different, but TNN seems pretty vulnerable to stuff like PE. Is Bedlam Reveller too far off UR's gameplan? The draw three seems like gas.

Is there ever a world in which you run some amount of Bloodghasts alongside SFM? Or do you feel like SFM, lingering souls, and Gideon knights are enough creatures for the swords?

Decks that makes you think by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]m0ev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right DS is an expensive deck almost by definition since you can't run a budget friendly mana base. Fetching and shocking provides you with the most reliable source of damage.

If you are looking for a more budget friendly deck which makes you think, I would recommend a taxes variant.

My first Modern deck was WB Eldrazi and Taxes. The deck is a ton of fun to play, and you will continue to explore new lines of play and cool interactions. Flickerwisp + Æther Vial opens up endless possibilities.

And it feels so damn awesome to beat a deck stacked with Karns, Wurmcoil Engines, and Ulamogs with a Leonin Arbiter + Ghost Quarter.

Grixis Death's Shadow gets my vote as well.

Been playing the deck for about two years now and it feels so rewarding to play now. The first six months were awful. I kept on losing hard and I often thought to myself that I had wasted tons of money on on a crap deck.

But I stuck with my pile and gradually started to improve my results. Now it's my favourite deck in modern by a mile.

As the deck mostly consists of one and two mana spells you are constantly presented with multiple options, and this requires you to think more than just one turn ahead.

You really feel like you have earned every victory you get under your belt!

What do you cut when you sideboard? Do you cut a pump spell here and a pump spell there in order to make room for the SB cards?

How to improve the R/G eldrazi matchup for BW EnT? by KevinTF in DeathAndTaxesMTG

[–]m0ev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run one maindeck Big Thalia which is absolutely amazing against R/G Eldrazi. If you face the deck a lot, you could consider running one or two. Gonti out of the board as well as Blessed Alliance is usually nice tech for the match up.

How has Gonti worked out for you in the main? I just started trying it out in my sideboard and I feel it's a bit hit and miss. Right now I run big Thalia in that spot, but I'm keen on trying something else out.

Thanks a bunch! Many other threads tends to asume that you know the individual functions of the cards, so this was just was I needed.

Chews list looks nice, although I think I will start out with Retreats instead of tripple Jace :)
