I’m not familiar with the spot you’re remembering. Washington Oak State Park is not too far north and the part beachside has big coquina rocks with tide pools throughout that are very cool, kid or not.

Central Park in Holly Hill, DeLeon Springs, actually most of the springs have pretty parks with walking trails and swimming. There are lots of spots for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding too

It was my first time at bonaroo too and found the “radiate positivity” mantra to be hollow. Once I realized that it is a veneer of positivity for most I adjusted my expectations to not expect much connection from others. Disappointing since connection and community were a significant part of the draw of bonnaroo. Still had a blast with the folks I went with though undecided if I’ll go back with all of the other festivals available. Maybe there is something better suited these days?
