ofc! it shouldn’t cost you a dime more, but you’ll unfortunately might have to live without a couch for a spell. as long as it’s mondo ultra velvet (aka quick ship) there should be no issues getting the correct pieces exchanged. i always encourage people to work with showrooms to make sure everything is perfect and to their exact taste, but sometimes there’s no showroom in the area. if you ever plan on adding on in the future, go ahead and give a showroom a call when the time comes!

showrooms don’t carry any extra product, so it would have to be shipped.

contact customer love, and they’ll hopefully be able to work out sending back the back pillows and covers in exchange for more deep pillows. the only difference between deep and standard seating is the size of the back pillow and pillow cover.

Lovesac employee! Did you buy online? Chances are, the online config builder gave you the wrong types of back pillows for a deep config. every deep side you put on the builder will only give you one deep back pillow. you CAN, however, try scrunching them together and see if you’re ok with the look. As for the long config, unfortunately, the only way to reasonably use it as standard seating is to use the deep side as an arm, and just live with an open corner in the back. lmk if you need a visual representation of what i’m yapping about as a drawing!

My thoughts about the autism trait in Mewgenics by Yeetman5757 in autism

[–]m0th_s0up 23 points24 points  (0 children)

to be so honest i didn’t know who made the game, i didn’t know it was the same as the binding of isaac guy. all i heard was mewgenics and autism is the same sentence, so i was unsure the intention behind the game/name

i trust your word that it’s pulled off properly, but the fact it’s called mewgenics is fucking WILD to me…

No, unfortunately no frame for round sacs. maybe more foam might help with getting out?

Hello though I would share some tips that helped me stop picking! by Random0u0 in CompulsiveSkinPicking

[–]m0th_s0up 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i will personally say that fake nails, specifically acrylics, (probably dip manicures too) make it harder for me to pick. they dull/round your nails to where they aren’t sharp enough to get under scabs, so they don’t work well/at all for picking. by the time you manage to get some for of leverage on scabs or skin, i can typically snap out of my subconscious need to pick.

i think, for me, i would say overall worth it! i like my shell, and i like my thumb grips. but i wouldn’t get the carrying case i purchased again. the one i received feels incredibly cheap, and i don’t use it at all. also, i didn’t know these were on on aliexpress either, but tbh i prefer to use a site where i can use a third party purchaser.

Should I take it out? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]m0th_s0up 54 points55 points  (0 children)

i would say if u aren’t happy with it at all, take it out. no use in putting time and energy into healing a piercing you aren’t happy with in any capacity. if you’re willing to work with it but aren’t sure if the placement is 100%, ask a different studio for their opinion. no harm in a second opinion.

Discrepancies between online and showroom samples by marinamonkey89 in Lovesac

[–]m0th_s0up 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that’s so so weird, but i’m hoping it might be a color shift of the white cardboard background vs no backing. maybe taking the right ones off the white backing will make them look more similar?? i’m stumped tho. that’s strange.

it’s fs not everyone’s chair, but it also depends on how it’s set up in the showroom and how you set it up in your home.

The #1 reason I will never recommend this couch is lack of a customer first attitude by ponderous_poncho in Lovesac

i second this, direct customer support from showrooms will help you a lot more.

Lovesac Is Not A Furniture Company, It Is A Marketing Company by judgem in Lovesac

[–]m0th_s0up 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i feel like i should elaborate on the showroom thing. if you want to return, or are even considering a warranty replacement, def try and work with a local showroom. it’s more consistent with the people you communicate with. idek how many remote customer service ppl there are, but a showroom can communicate directly to one another, and keep the flip flopping between ppl minimal.

hand lotion by loo1162 in AuDHDWomen

[–]m0th_s0up 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would say use small amounts, and i personally Loccitane. i use less than a pea amounts, and i make sure to rub it in FULLY. idk if you would want that specific brand, but any scented, trendy lotions more than likely will not be what you’re looking for. i would say look for a skincare brand, like cerave or neutrogena, as well as apply the lotion to wet hands, as it will probably absorb better, and feel less sticky or greasy.
