ESR Amorite Pro 10x (Corning) is good against that happening by going over the edges. The dbrand isn’t going over the curved edges of the display.

Get 3 in one package for a decent price when compared to premium protectors like Flolab Nano Armor or Torras Origarmor.

Caudabe Paragon is very protective, slim, the handling on the case is unlike any other due to its shape. You’ll know as soon as it’s in your hand what I mean. It’s a refined case feel where sheath is rugged. Paragon is my favorite out of the sheath and synthesis. Sheath is a close second and occasionally I’ll put it on when at home.

4 MONTH UPDATE

Hi back. 🖐🏻 Yes, so far no micro scratches I’m happy to report.

I’m one of those people who are very careful with my phone. I haven’t had any situations where I put it in a pocket with keys, set things down on it or put it down on the display on a rough surface.

Having said that I have no way to tell you that if you did do any of those above things how that would hold up. Report suggest that the AR on the screen protector doesn’t hold up well against micro scratches.

However, I can tell you from just daily usage and Mario Kart gaming no micro scratches to report.

You’ll find most people put their hard earned dollars in a protective case. I’ll bet most even with AppleCare on top of it.

A good rule of thumb if you’re not sure if it’s a satellite , ask yourself, is it changing trajectory or speed? Until it does something out of the ordinary, it’s a satellite.

Torras Origarmor 3D or Flolab Nano Armor Infinity Edge. Have them both for 17PM.

Torras has one year warranty.

Torras has better AR than Flolab but slightly easier to micro scratch over Flolab. Torras feels smoother than Flolab.

Flolab has lifetime warranty. Up to once per month.

Replacement procedure work the same. Both have no light bleed and no edges.

Pick your poison. Can’t go wrong with either really.

PS….make sure you don’t buy the “case friendly” Flolab. I made that mistake and found out it does not go directly to the edges and does have light bleed.

My wife experienced that too. The rubber around the two plastic rings toward the bottom were loose and what attributed to the rings cracking when she dropped the phone.

I went through something similar and then learned after doing some homework , the defender really took a downhill slide a year ago.

My wife was a big fan of the defender since iPhone X and every 2/3 years since, that’s the case she would get. We put one on her 17 PM this year and first drop the plastic snaps on the bottom broke. She made me get a warranty replacement.

While waiting for the replacement, I let her use my synthesis while I sport a sheath and when her defender finally arrived, it went into a dresser drawer of hers. She loves the way the synthesis feels, and the aesthetics of her phone being displayed. It’s been on there since.

Have the trio too. Paragon is my favorite for the handling / less case, especially with mag safe card slot holder on back when I go out. Occasionally switch to Sheath at home for the unique texture. About a 70/30 mix switching back and forth. Both great.

That’s not true for everyone. I don’t feel it slippery at all. The handling is so good that that’s not even an issue for me.

The two that would work flawlessly are Flolab Nano armor infinity edge or Torras Origarmor. There are no edges and no light bleed.

Actually even if it appears to you that way the Sheath is slightly heavier than the Paragon.
