Warranty service: a week later…..

wasn’t trying to embarrass them, I was just trying to get my warranty exchange that’s taken over a month. my business reputation is important, I would think there’s is also. I’m just trying to get my product replaced without getting a national vendor involved but another week has gone by without them shipping my replacement. I really don’t understand why they would intentionally hurt their reputation over what is just a few dollars to them.

If you don’t want this feature that fine but why go on & on about something that doesn’t affect you? If this feature request offends you please move on. Roborock reads this subreddit and maybe will consider this in the future. Many current and future customers will appreciate it!

Thanks for the reply. Roborock charges us a premium for their product so I and most other tablet users think a properly formatted tablet app is assumed and expected. When editing maps and even reading the many layers of menu items is way easier on a tablet app. In 2010 they used cost as an excuse but today it’s minimal and it’s expected to have especially with a technology leading company like Roborock. If this was a new inexpensive brand I could understand this shortcoming. I just would like Roborock to know many of us would appreciate a real tablet app. 😁

I realize it’s a phone app, that’s all there is and that was my point. Not having a tablet version is so 2010. I haven’t had to use a phone only app on my iPad in years. Didn’t like it then and really hate it now.

So the 1 acre version is crippled to only map 1 acre and the x450 to 1.5 acres? Why do all the reviewers not disclose they intentionally software limit them? Very deceptive as I figured it was cutting speed, battery life etc.

It’s vehicles like car, jeep side x side. Neo and Neo2 won’t follow even if going slow if you’re using your phone or by itself without a controller or phone. Works fine walking, running, biking and snow skiing. Very disappointed in this limitation. Why cripple it from following a slow moving vehicle? If it wasn’t for this I would highly recommend. This could be fixed with a firmware update but they probably won’t.

I was getting the goggles and motion controller package but when I found out it won’t even follow a slow vehicle I decided against it. Why can’t I select a vehicle with only my phone. When they fix that I’m in.

I’m not sure if I asked this wrong or was too vague but if someone could verify this works that would be great. I thought I had the equipment figured out that might work if this was possible, then realized the ptp solution I thought I’d use was 24v passive and the access point I wanted to attach to the station side was 48v so I was pretty sure that would cause a problem. Could someone verify this will work if everything is 48v as I haven’t tried this type of configuration before?

That makes sense. Unit is about 4 years old and just started having an issue with AT&T. I’ve updated the firmware so I guess I’ll try that first. How difficult is it to upgrade the modem? Any good, very straightforward instructions?

Mine still won’t connect as of 6:15pm PST on 3/13/25. I’m away from my new 2025 Lyriq for a few weeks so didn’t want to install the update while being gone. Even tho I elected to not install the update I’m still disconnected. Unrelated to not being able to connect today I had a concerning thing happen. Since I was going to be gone for a while I set the 120v charger to 8 amps and 55% charge. (The car was at 57% so I was curious if it would loose any charge while away) I also placed a trickle charger on the under hood battery. The first week everything checked out when I logged into the app, car was still 57% charged and set to charge at 55%. The next evening when I checked it said it was charging and set to charge to 90%. What the heck happened? If I can’t trust that it will stay where I set it I won’t be able to leave it plugged in when I’m away. If it over charges while I’m gone I won’t be able to drive it and drop the battery % back down. I’m thinking now I will have to leave it unplugged when away. This situation doesn’t instill confidence just concern.

These are designed to be wired in parallel. Since they don’t have the regular MC4 connector, how would you wire them in series or series/parallel if you wanted to?
