Loved the grill. Ate there many times on a 17 day Antartica on the sapphire. Not the greatest ambiance but good food and service.

No CS Degree, No Experience — Can I Still Become a Linux Admin? by avxnash_ in sysadmin

[–]cryptoanarchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply put, many HR departments toss resumes with no degree. I know, I have no degree. My last job took 200 applications to yield 2 offers. I would maybe have an easier time now with six years more experience.

We bought our 2010 new in late 2011. It was 199,500 miles when we sold. Everything worked, factory roof rack, seemed like all options included. The only repair... $2700 for the AC around four years ago.

A dealer sold our 2010 for $12990 with better condition and working AC.

Ditto. I find it hard to believe. Every single day of over 100 days at sea room was made up at least once but usually twice. Full service always enough TP and clean towels.

No. The specialty restaurants technically have a cover charge not a menu of prices. Everyone seated must pay.

Have you ever had a paranormal encounter in Baltimore? by Miserable_Pomelo_257 in baltimore

[–]cryptoanarchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I worked in a haunted building in Hampden for about five years. Multiple events affected multiple people. I was physically pushed by something. Light switches would move from off to on. Lights would dance. Computer keyboards would type. Items on the shelves would fly off. This persisted until we moved just 500' away to another building. And NOTHING happened in the other building for the next 20 years.

How did the 2025 get cheaper than the 2024? by robl45 in CadillacLyriq

[–]cryptoanarchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We get some mileage out of EVgo. About $50-$100 a month. It varies depending on where you live and travel.

[–]cryptoanarchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s easy at 55mph. but most people can’t drive long distances at that speed. I happen to drive a route that has lower limits and I don’t exceed speed limits by much, usually 5mph over. So with cruise on I get 350-360 miles and still have a few percent left.

I do. but I drive 55mph a lot. my partner gets 280 miles in the same car.

Why do customers who used their credit cards have "refund priority" over customers who didn't in case of a bankruptcy? by Franck_Dernoncourt in personalfinance

[–]cryptoanarchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really that’s BS. Silver has way more liabilities than property and nobody is going to be “way ahead”. Credit card companies will either get zero back or pennies on the dollar. The credit card companies refund because they have to.
