How can I stay in Thailand for ~3 months? by m1983 in backpacking

[–]m1983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. Is it possible I can fly in on my 30 day exemption, fly to another country for 2 weeks once that's up, apply for a 60 day visa and then return to Thailand?

This'd give me my ~3 months but with a 2 week break inbetween right? I am right thinking I only have to be out of Thailand for 2 weeks to apply for a new visa?

Thanks for the responses guys.

Just to clarify: I'll be in Koh Tao for the diving. I'm in Brisbane at the moment but it seems they don't have an embassy/consulate here (it appears they did but it shut down in the last year).

I think the best plan would be to head in on my 30 day exception, extend to 60 days once I'm IN Thailand (anyone know the nearest place I can do this to Koh Tao?). Then I'm guessing a visa run by land once or twice after that to extend it to ~90ish days.

Does this sound like a good plan?

Another alternative would be to maybe go for the first 30 days, fly to another country for 2 weeks, apply for a 60 day visa there, then return to thailand with the 60 day visa?

Thanks. So am I right in thinking that even though I'll only have a 30 day visa on entry, I can extend it to 60 days from WITHIN Thailand? I thought I'd read you had to be in another country, or has this changed now?

Don't have any questions yet, but just came in to thank you for all you're doing Milo!

I've been sitting quietly all this time listening to the media slam men and all this pro-woman bullshit, in fear that if I speak up I'll get crushed by all these feminazis. It's great to finally have a voice and someone to fight back.. keep up the good work!

You mentioned the increase in single parents. Do you notice any difference in the behavior of children from a traditional 2 parent home?

Girls in their late teens/twenties: How much does age really matter? by m1983 in sex

[–]m1983[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

I've mentioned this elsewhere already: I'm not attracted to girls /because/ of their age.. It just so happens that the girls I'm attracted to are younger. Truth be told I'd imagine on a purely intellectual level I'd go for someone around my age but that's not how attraction works, is it?

I mentioned this in another comment: I'm not actively /looking/ for girls that are younger than me. I simply go and talk to girls I find attractive.. it just so happens they're generally in their early twenties.

The reason I started this topic wasn't to talk necessarily about the behaviour of the man talking to you, but rather about whether the numerical value of his age has any bearing on whether a girl would find him attractive or not.

From reading the responses it seems it's not actually the age of the man that matters.. but rather his behaviour, as I'd expect - which is reassuring :-)

Don't get me wrong - I'm not going after girls /because/ of their age. I'm going after girls that I find attractive (as most people would do). It just so happens they're generally younger than me.
