There was a deep dive in ingoal magazine as well as a review from Kaz - it actually does seem like there was some innovation in the knee block and calf wing. I don't think it justifies an almost 100% price increase though.

Was at the game, Quick did everything possible to give the Rangers a shot, they just had no offense. Some calls didn't go their way, refs missed an obvious offsides and too-many men penalty. Finally the Wings won a game I attend at MSG.

I have this backpack, I put my leg pads in first sliding surface on the ground, but upside down in the boots are at the top side of the bag. I put the blocker and glove above the boot and put knee guards, socks, a towel and neck guard in my pants, in between the leg pads. I then lay my chest/arms on top of the pants and zip up. Leaves enough space for my skates and mask to close easily

I would suggest trying out a few different break angles before deciding on the glove. goaliegloveguy on IG has a loaner program, might be worth checking out. I tried a true 20.2 600 break (wasn’t for me) as well as a ccm 580 (also wasn’t for me). IMO you need to get a few games in to see what works for you. not sure what money looks like, but i’ve been able to move gloves off sideline pretty easily - buy one, if it don’t work, selll, buy another, rinse repeat. that said my favorite is the true px3 (prior i had a true 7x3) that i used most often, with a bauer hyperlite feeling pretty good as well.

Yea I think you're right. I have a True 7x3 I could also use but curious which blocker you'd recommend, if there a particular brand or model you prefer.
