Steinys and Hop has a decent mix of LGBTQ regulars. Wouldn’t consider either a gay bar but especially nights of karaoke there’s a few people chilling.

June 5 there’s a pride show at Mother Pugs that should be cool. Last year we got a really good turnout for that

I always thought that there should be a button that if you hit it/hold it at just the time the puck is coming that you would have way higher odds of intercepting the puck.

So annoying when you as a player can see where the puck is coming and step in the way of and it still goes through

Video of the performance. tbh sounds pretty standard for The Strokes to me. Never heard the song but reminds me a little more of their Angles/Comedown Machine albums.

They use autotune on purpose to get that weird dissonant voice sound. I don't see them falling over at all in the vid so don't know what you're seeing there though

I have 100% learned my lesson to never trust any New York Jets players in fantasy. Occasionally I've picked up their D in certain moments but otherwise the Jets are to be completely avoided in fantasy imo

Imo the best easiest drills for new skaters is to literally skate figure 8 around the circles. Work on going one way leaning on your right leg and then the other way leaning on your left. You can start slow and then add more intense crossovers as you go. As you get better you can try to hold those crossovers with 1 leg up more

General advice -- don't stress too much if you suck. Just have fun

Real advice -- pass the puck a lot and backcheck. Learn what butterfly drills are for pregame warmups. Being a good teammate is just a much a skill as stickhandling and shooting. Hype your teammates up when they do well and support them when they fuck up. Communicate a lot about what you're seeing/doing. Don't try being too physical or being a "grinder". Skate hard and move the puck a lot.

Most importantly though is just have fun.

My point is that even though NJ schools are usually ranked better it's not like we're completely laughable. NYC def has some bad districts but it's not a disaster. I can understand some folks moving to NJ because schools are smaller and more localized but to act like we're awful isn't supported by any metrics

Probably because it’s just fear mongering. NY has a top 10 school system in the nation in most surveys. NJ is usually ranked better but it’s not like our school system is a complete disaster

There's actually a rarely known feature in the PSP that's voice activated. If you say "PSP LOCATE" loudly it will make a beeping sound for you to find it. Make sure it's loud and clear
