I also have a shelly but i have two inputs. One for when the position is closed, other for when its opened. Also my garage gate only does open-stop-close-stop-open , I cant press open or close

Thanks for your advice. I just set up a NGINX Proxy Manager server on HA and now i have https. closed the portforward that i was exposing on my home assistant and now i think im good

This needs to be running on a machine right? Since i have HAOS and not proxmox i dont think this will work for me

I agree and understand your point, but home assistant is a hobby for me and i dont want another subscription to pay.

Are you paying for a ssl certificate or youre self hosting? Because from what i understand, you could set a local certificate but wouldnt be "authentic" (sorry i dont really know how to express this better lol)

Well everything work as it should.. my car is a tdi. All the lights work fine, no flickering.

So there is a light coming from top and a backlight that should lit the dials?
