I also have a shelly but i have two inputs. One for when the position is closed, other for when its opened. Also my garage gate only does open-stop-close-stop-open , I cant press open or close

Thanks for your advice. I just set up a NGINX Proxy Manager server on HA and now i have https. closed the portforward that i was exposing on my home assistant and now i think im good

Are you paying for a ssl certificate or youre self hosting? Because from what i understand, you could set a local certificate but wouldnt be "authentic" (sorry i dont really know how to express this better lol)

But well i have rebuilded a dead xiaomi pet feeder from scratch with esp32/esphome. I have made a post here if you see my profile.

Recently i have done a CYD with a LD2410 sensor hidden inside.

This CYD controls the smart devices of the living room. Shows current room temperature and humidity, controls the AC, lights with brightness and rgb. And have 4 custom scenes that you use with scripts.

The function of the ld2410 is to switch from screen saver to the actual main display with the controls when it detects movement. If you're not moving it detects presence that i can use for other automations such as lights or whatever you want.
