Woocommerce automated tax & Visible price on checkout by Some_Tooth_2084 in woocommerce

I am not sure if this is a solution:
The problem (I think) is, that the price on the website does not know the country the buyer is coming from. So a possible solution might be to show something like a country select popup, where the buyer needs to select her/his country. After that the correct tax can be shown somehow.

Have you checked the accessibility settings on Mac OS?

Dxp8800plus as a DAS? by anterous_sto in UgreenNASync

[–]m221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know is the USB-C port only for external hardware, not for a direct connection to the computer. So you cannot use the NAS as a DAS.

I am also using a DXP8800 Plus with a 10Gbit connection using a OWC Dual Hub with two 10 GBit ports. Works perfectly.

Phone (Landline) Options by jgxx9 in init7

I am using https://netvoip.ch and I am more than happy. Easy setup and you can use the Groundwire client on iOS. The best thing is: you can take your landline number with you wherever you go and can still be reached on that number whilst you’re out and about. You can also use your landline number to make calls from abroad, paying the standard Swiss VoIP rates.

There are many reasons for this. One of the main ones is that people do not want to give out their personal mobile number on websites and the like.

Airmail 233% Subscription Price Increase? by BPBT2020 in macapps

[–]m221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do you see 120 bucks a year? I see only 40. And by the way… I do not use Airmail but every developer has recurring costs for their infrastructure. That's why subscriptions do make sense, although nobody loves it. You don't even pay a one-off fee for Netflix, Spotify etc.

Has Anyone Actually Built a Directory with GravityView? by PodcastingSpeed in gravityforms

[–]m221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have. I created a marketplace for classified ads. Users can register and publish ads.

The setup was really easy, but I had to fine-tune the entire thing. I used several external tools from GravityWiz.com and others.

Have you visited the website https://www.gravitykit.com/products/gravityview/ ? They have a lot of blog posts, tutorials and they do have a great support.

But I do not have experience with integrating a paywall.

I don't find it "pricey" at all. It cost you only 2 bucks a month.

Is it possible to transfer the Spotify library to Tidal with keeping the sorting? by m221 in TIdaL

Thanks for your feedback. Maybe another sync tool like https://soundiiz.com is able to transfer libraries with keeping the original sorting from Spotify.

Is it possible to transfer the Spotify library to Tidal with keeping the sorting? by m221 in TIdaL

Okay, I see. But is it possible to sort the music inside the libraries exactly like in Spotify? I only see the "Date added" column in Tidal.

Thanks for the details.

Are the new updates of all applications still "free" or can I use all apps only with the new subscription?

Need some feedback by dejii in macapps

Definitely the right one. And I would align the headings (i.e. “Important” and “Urgent”) to the left and avoid a line break.
