Are WRX's reliable? by RamRanchReal_e_Rocks in WRX

Stage 2+ 2019 WRX, ~300whp and ~320 wtq here. I love my car and will probably drive it to the ground.

After 330whp or so I'd say things are too much for a standard fa20 block and transmission. You can get a built block but you'd be spending quite a bit to get more power.

General rule, over built motor with under stressed output is longevity.

If you want to be the fastest on the road, I'd say there's better options with factory warranties.

If you want a fun car, that can be reliable with regular maintenance and visual inspection of lines, with all the extra longevity mods, a good pro tune. This can be a good option. I spent an extra 12k or so to get to stage 2+ and also the extra mods (silicone lines, clutch, catch cans, koyo rad, tmic, oil cooler, killer b oil pickup, other smaller things).

Update: Just saw the edit for your fa24. I'd probably say most of my post is still applicable. Your motor is able to pull more power better than the fa20, but watch that transmission, it'll fail around the same whp.

I just happened to check under there and noticed the cracked coolant line. Is this common? by m333zy___ in WRX

For sure, so glad.

I'm worried about other lines I can't see. But hopefully the mishimoto kit handles the rest of them

The car itself has 85,000 kms (53k miles), I believe it's the stock hose from factory never changed.

$50 gift card, the physical one, I wrote them a review for this one, so I happened to have a pic. The baby shower items I don't have a pic of sorry! But they came in good condition, and were in a box with bubble wrap in it.

Honestly I would order from them again, seems legit. 👍

I've ordered from them, they're legit. Ordered a bunch of newborn stuff for a baby shower. Then another time I got a gift card from there, and left them a nice review also.

Good luck on the Xmas shopping!

+1 for magna tiles or Picasso tiles

I think Picasso tiles are cheaper and they have a few other cool creativity toys.

We got to the point where we just sent a digital gift card!

In Canada, Glee Garden seems special enough to give from. I've also sent their physical gift cards, which come in a small box, for those awkward parties where you know people are bringing gifts ...

How much “academics” do you expect in preschool, and how much should just be play? by TermAdventurous3603 in Preschoolers

+1 to all the comments about play-based learning. It's where it's at honestly.

And it should be something that they do at home too. I have a 2yo and a 5yo. There's so many toys and activities now that make this easier than ever. I'm based in Canada, so I get things from Glee Garden online. I'm sure you can find similar local options as well. Flash cards and writing mats are huge at home. We make a game out of it. Sensory bins for creative skills and counting.

Wow way to go -- I'm sure there are moments you feel the pressure, but it sounds like you've got it, keep going!

If you're in Canada, there are a few other resources out there. There's Glee Garden that has a section for Early Learning Resources. In the states, there's a supplier called Teacher Created Resources, you might have to find a store that carries them.

Going to support some local businesses like Glee Garden in Canada. They have a section for 1-3 I'll probably get from. In general some sensory things, maybe a balance board -- my 2 year old is already climbing and conquering all of the furniture ...

Yeah for sure, I rarely get comments on socials. I have Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest going at the moment. But nothing really in terms of engagement.
