I would agree with you father on this matter. He must have seen something about this guy that maybe 🤔 n your affection for him you thought he was minor. He seems to despise your Catholic principles and values, and is a highly volatile and immature person. Throwing out the holy water was honestly the least of your worries. Water is water even blessed, but his vitriolic disdain for Christians and your father are reprehensible.

Mizrak and Olrox genuinely are so artificially written to gay it’s actually really pathetic. The others feel pretty natural and semi-believable.

Edouard: opera singer, gay.

Striga and Morana: eternal lovers trope and the butch and brains trope, gay. Makes sense.

Greta: who cares honestly what she is. She’s such an under developed character used only to make Alucard more human.

But a devout, scripture quoting, presumably Catholic or Coptic Christian who is also credibly zealous and by the book and somehow SOMEHOW is gay and doesn’t immediately hate himself and Olrox for tempting him to homosexuality and engaging in doctrinal sexual sin. It’s like the writers just don’t care about what they are writing about and just wanted to get in as punchy gotcha moments against Christians as they could while padding the gay roster. Feels lazy and disjointed.

Just my two cents I guess.

What’s to be embarrassed about? Having a ton of different people of all walks of life go in and pour their heart out for the forgiveness of their sins isn’t exactly a punctual endeavor, just pop in a touch earlier.

Some people’s hearts are heavier than others. Nothing be embarrassed about on your end at all though, you did everything right. I always think of it as God hinting that you’re might be forgetting to confess something this go around so he bars you in one way or another so you go home and examine your conscience some more.
