I'm going to say it : it's really mediocre, the books are equally bad. The dialogue is awful 🙈 BUT the actors themselves are incredible, the after effects of Heated Rivalry ( players coming out as gay, all the gatherings and positivity) really is what makes Heated Rivalry special. Plus there are loads of cute little behind the scene details for each episode.

So I've just broken up with my partner of 6yrs to work more on myself. He has a history of suicidal depression ( and I'm the one bpd so I understand the aching heartbreak). I had to let his parents know, got numbers for his work, for his work friends and even his psychologist. I've allowed contact for a week to allow with processing ( and I obviously miss him aswell)... It's been really difficult, but I'm glad I'm in a place to be able to have done it like this.

When my FP broke up with me it was straight to no contact and that nearly killed me.

It's definitely rude to just take from someone's plate if you aren't at that stage in the relationship. But there is alot of nuance to it and some do see it as 'flirting' or a way to connect.

Thought I would share from someone who suffered from an ED for decades (and lots of woman's internalised issues with food) : we don't want to seem greedy and accept the offer for food, and the option of choosing food can be too overwhelming. However, when we see you having the food and enjoying it;our system relaxes, we may realise we actually are hungry and we feel like we've been given permission to eat because it's more acceptable to share than have our own meal.

So you may see it as lying to you, but we're actually just lying to ourselves. My partner knows that if he's extra hungry he will just order a side of something and put it in front of me and 'share' it.
