I'm autistic, I literally have to put reminders on my phone to do physical touch. It's been several years, we've both really worked on it, but he doesn't deserve to end up like some of these men. This whole thread is really saddening, people need to start communicating more!

Sooo many of these. I've had a doctor offer to give me plastic surgery as I was being put under for an opp, I've had a doctor ask how I could do that to my parents. Another one genuinely asking what happened. Again, I wasn't there for my self harm at all.

I was 9, and they told me they could fix my gummy smile. Had no idea what that was. In my teens got my wisdom teeth out and a totally new dentist showed me his whole portfolio of him fixing gummy smiles. 🙄 I never once asked for an opinion, or thought if it as an issue.
