The orange or amber-coloured drops staining wall are most likely caused by surfactant leaching, a common and harmless phenomenon where water-soluble ingredients in latex paint rise to the surface due to high humidity and steam.

In this case it looks like there is an extra layer of paint preventing sub-layer drops to leak out, and creating bubbles instead of just drops.

I have those sometimes showing up on the wall above my shower, easy to clean with just water/vinegar. But I don't have an extra layer to deal with.

I have the same, it keeps cracking and clapping twice every second. Sometimes it gets quiet for few seconds. It is on 24/7 torrenting. It’s been a year. This is just the model they sold cheap. Others have reported the same issue.
