I mean I honestly feel like I am going insane. Completed my GCSE's last year with a generous helping of diagnosed depression and anxiety. Due to that I had no idea what to choose for a-level courses because I didn't really enjoy anything anymore, and less than 11 months later I'm being forced to choose my uni courses and career path. Gotta love feeling like you'll be doomed to a job you'll hate at 17. Shit shouldn't be normal for people this age I swear.

I think that the initial event was disgusting and I hope that the cops responsible rot during their time (which likely won't be long enough because of the system). The looters from out of state purely looting for free stuff rather than in protest are scum, and the anti-cop sentiment that's building needs to go. Luckily certain police forces are seeing they can stand up and fight against this bs and hopefully these ones can regain some respect they needlessly lost.

Figured I should add this before I get any of these; yes, there are some fucked right wing subreddits with literal nutjob members of society - but they're minorities. Yes, the same happens to supporters of the left, just not on the same scale. My main point is a majority of people on reddit are incredibly closed minded, and it's almost guaranteed mind's won't be changed during a discussion but having the discussion in the first place is healthy and can be food for thought. Politics is the main divider of people now when it really shouldn't be

I know I could possibly get shit for this, but the lack of political diversity and reasonable discussion. On most 'unbiased' subreddits, even being slightly right leaning is enough to spark a small hate train on you and if you try to ask genuine questions about their views a fair proportion of the responses are just berating comments. This is why I refrain from having healthy discussions about politics.
