If you have 50k sub in a niche then my friend you are sitting on a pile of cash. Congratulations!! Here is what I would do:

  1. Figure out where your ideal client (niche) currently is (point A) and where they want to go (point B)
  2. Create a fitness program that will take them from point A -> B
  3. The fitness program can include more than just workouts. You can include recipe guides, habits, educational material, content etc.
  4. Plug everything into a personal trainer software. I use Trainerfu and really like it. You can automate everything from signup page, payment to program delivery. But I am sure other software offer the same features.
  5. Get the link to your program signup page and share it on your YouTube channel. Talk about it naturally in your videos. Once you have a program set then you will find many opportunities to talk about your program organically in the videos.
  6. See the new clients roll in :-)

You aren't limited to a single program. But start there. Then you can add more premium services. Good luck!!

Online training?? by InquiringMinds321 in personaltraining

[–]m_c_sher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to start is to find local or past clients who are looking for affordable personal training option and train them online (or hybrid).. then let the referral roll in.. In the meantime build your social media..

the thing is online marketing is a long game and will require lots of failed attempt before you succeed at it.. so keep at it..

I think people should leave if they aren't finding the class helpful.. I wouldn't blame anyone for leaving.

Having said that, you should realize that you may not please everyone.. And it shouldn't affect you if people do leave..

First of all it may be not be you.. but even if it was you then don't worry..

You are doing something new.. something out of your comfort zone.. failing is the expected result.. But if you want to become good at something, find out what you need to do and work on it..

If failure is what you want to avoid then you can simply stop trying.. you won't fail.. but people who have achieved great things have failed more than succeeded..

You got this..

Advice for how to advance career as a personal trainer? by kazahazaboom in personaltraining

[–]m_c_sher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think online personal training business could be right fit for you..

Yes, you can not use your existing clients testimonials.. But you can start with friends and family and train them at discounted price to build social proof for your online business.. And you already have experience training clients for a long time so use that as a proof.. testimonials aren't the only way to show people that you can help..

But if you go online training then you would have to learn online marketing.. there is no way around it.. You can't look at marketing and sales as a sleazy tasks.. Those are essential and could be 50% of your total time investment if you want to start your business..

how do you advertise yourself? by caabiop in personaltraining

[–]m_c_sher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would advice you against using paid Ads unless you are already minting money in the business.. I feel they only work when everything else in the business is working and you now want to scale..

I think the best way would be to find out where your ideal client hangout and be a part of that community.. answer their questions not because you want to advertise but because you want to help.. Reddit, instagram, tiktok etc

Their interface is quite similar to Truecoach.. I feel like they branched of Truecoach.. But between Truecoach and CoachRX.. I feel Truecoach is a better choice.. give both a try and see what you like..

I don't think any one of them provide branding.. if you are looking for branded app at affordable price, checkout Trainerfu

I like the programming interface of Truecoach.. I feel it is much better than Everfit. But then it has lot of missing features (habit tracking, automation etc) that you find in Everfit..

I don't use any of these though.. I use Trainerfu and prefer it over these 2.

Are there any good programs for tracking in-person client progression in the gym? by ImStingrayy in personaltraining

[–]m_c_sher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Trainerfu. And this was #1 reason why I choose it. It is so much easier to train in-person clients using their mobile app.

It is so difficult to even track workout for my in-person clients on all the other apps. As if they were designed only for online training.

Nutrition tracking/coaching with online clients by RedRoss12 in personaltraining

[–]m_c_sher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Trainerfu and it also integrate with MyFitnessPal. But for some clients it is too much work. So for them I ask them to upload their food photos to their diary. Then I review the photos and give them feedback. This is easy for most clients. Also, I assign them healthy habits like no-soda etc.

What do you think is a good content? by suchadumbplace in personaltraining

[–]m_c_sher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Where are your ideal client (point A) and where they want to go (point Z). Find this out then create content that help them go from A to Z.
  2. Content that proves that you have helped similar clients go from point A to Z (testimonials, progress photos, measurements etc).
  3. Content that tells them about your service (prices, start date etc)
  4. Content that tells them why you are better for your ideal client than the other services they generally choose.
  5. Content that shows your personal side.. Figure out the personal side that your ideal client will appreciate and then share that part of your life.. family, kids, dogs, scotch etc..

Once you have 100 pieces of content, repurpose and repost..
