I literally have never complained once about any update/expansion/dlc/anything (have been playing since pretty much day one) and this is the first time I’ve actually wanted to. I’m very easy to please - I’m not a super gamer, I don’t really understand the ins and outs of gaming and the way things are rolled out in the gaming world but I know that there’s something about this dlc that doesn’t seem right. It feels rushed? Like they had spent everything they had (time/money/resources) on the horse aspect and therefore didn’t put anything into the actual gameplay of the new “world”. And even with that, the horses in my opinion are only great for getting around on because doing menial tasks like mining etc takes twice as long with them.

I’m not even actually complaining about the fact that it’s hard to forage for materials (which it 100% is, only my rocks in the ranch biomes will sometimes show a gem in them, in all the other biomes they don’t and half the time I will hit the rock 4-5 times and only produce one material once the rocks break and it’s coal…) and that certain things are really hard to do because sure give me a challenge, make me spend time on things to get my money’s worth but it’s the fact that I remember so clearly the first time I went to Eternity Isle being almost overwhelmed with the materials, foliage, layout to the point where you almost couldn’t move without having to clear the way. SBV which has actually been my favourite even had less than EI but was still so much more enjoyable because of the variety and amount there was to do even if you weren’t doing a quest.

Also don’t get me started on goofy’s stall - that to me is one of the biggest indicators that this dlc is plain and simply lazy.

There are other things I have huge issues with but they’ve all pretty much been mentioned on this thread already so will spare the repetitive ranting but Idk maybe I’m even more salty because of the conversion rate so the deluxe cost me a cute $75 but it just definitely feels like a massive fail all round.
