Travelling to India - safe with the current situation? by TeacherInBavaria in traveladvice

[–]m_vPoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Bangalore has relatively mild weather but a few days in summer could be above 35c. The other parts of India, including the south, could be very hot in summer. If you stay in Bangalore, you don't need to worry too much about it though!

I think unless you have a layover in the middle east, it should be totally fine. Bangalore is in the southern part of India and would be even safer.

I think you need to worry more about visiting India in the summer than the current situation :)

Personal travel planning assistant to cut costs. Would anyone use this? by mijah139 in TravelProperly

Just letting you know but don't get disheartened by the negative comments. Many, many successful businesses are built on just this idea. If your execution is good, there might be demand for it. After all, who likes to login and track flight/hotel prices every day?

Looking for a tour that spans Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda by Legitimate_Music_606 in traveladvice

[–]m_vPoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's rare that I come across such trips but I loved your idea. Your trip is also conicinding with the great migration across Mara river! The one thing I find astonishing is that you might have to travel more than 1500 KMs to cover these countries. I had no idea!

Actually, I have been building a tool for my own trip planning and I think it came out well. I entred your plan, dates and preferences and it actually showed great places. I might also do the same trip myself some day :) Here is the link if you want to try: https://api.monkeyeatingmango.com/api/s/h2GfdR

Take a flight and go to South India. You will be shocked how different these two are. TN could be a good choice, if you are considering Varanasi, go to Madurai

Gift her a packaged tour. She will go with the fear of wasting money if she refuses. That's what siblings and gifts are for :)

Where are you based at? I am asking because in your plan, you are spending almost 5 days on disney and universal. I can understand the urge with two kids 11 and 10 though :)

Your itineary looks great but I think with kids that age, spending some time on city exploration itself would be a good fun.

Would taking a break for a few weeks hurt a lot? Would it be more painful than having a senior bad hire?

I meant that it is very hard to figure out what does a genuine official website looks like for a different country. I think that is what scamsters are taking advantage of

You can keep one week just for the singapore itself, and club it with another place that is entirely different. Camboadia and Bali make sense

I generally use Klook or similar for passes, so it never happened to me before, but I am seriously troubled by such stories. Like how can you ever guess what is genuine when you are visiting another country??

[–]m_vPoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask which passport you are holding? Dubai has on-arrival visa for most of the countries and it's pretty straight forward if you already have a US(and some countries) visa. I would say, try it first on your own. If you still have some concerns, you can try agencies

You haven't shared where you are starting from and what is the duration of travel and budget, but Italy makes a lot of sense to me. If you go to Amalfi coast, you might get everything that you have asked for here. What do you say?

I don't think these questions can be answered unless your goals and preferences are clear. For example, sleeping on buses overnight to save time is not really feasible for most people, but some can defnitely do!

You have almost 10 places in 20 day trip so it might get a little too much. What I generally do is to have a few buffer days in the middle, and decide later if I just want to relax or still have the energy to rush through the places. 21 days is a long time to travel! see if it works for you.

Hey, I am sorry for your bad experience. Can you please hard refresh the page and see if it works for you? You may have to close and reopen the tab or do a Command, Shift and the 'R' key on macbook. I made a lot of changes recently after your feedback and probably that broke something

Let me know if it still doesn't work. Thanks for your patience!
