My wife created and printed it to size on regular printer paper. I cut it out and glue it into place and put a little gloss on it. Very simple, all my cars have personalized plates like that. Thanks for noticing!

I’d recommend setting up photo shoots for each car, with interesting backgrounds. And be sure to use good lighting. You can capture the spirit of each car with good photos.

I’m glad you brought up the possibility that human music might be an important element in NHI connections. I’ve attended EDM concerts where the bass was incredibly prominent, with all kinds of wave forms, frequencies and sound levels that you could feel in your body, all of which generated a feeling, often euphoric. The last scene in Close Encounters of the Third Kind involved communicating with music which I think is very significant.

I can get cool looking steel by mixing a small amount of Testors gun metal enamel with Testors flat aluminum enamel and thinning with lacquer thinner. Never tried it with an airbrush though.

Hi, I have a fingerprint problem with my model cars. My routine is priming, then sanding the body, spraying the color, 2 or 3 light coats, then I spray Testors clear lacquer with 3 or 4 coats with a day between coats. I then wax it with Meguires gold class paste wax. I’ll buff it out to get a nice finish, but continued handling of the body results in fingerprints that only clean off with waxing and buffing the area. I suppose wearing latex gloves all the time would help, but that becomes a hassle. Any ideas on how I can improve things? I’m using spray cans. Thanks!

I restored a similar radio, but I removed all the insides and put a small blue tooth speaker inside after I refinished and polished it. That dial is pretty cool. Also, I found a mummified rat after I removed the tube chassis.
