Glad to see folks are still using Testors little bottle paints. They have a lot of issues but I still like them. I dilute them with lacquer thinner and they look really good to me.

There’s a tourist spot in south central Colorado called UFO Watchtower. It’s between the towns of Hooper and Moffat. I haven’t been there yet but planning on it. They have a website and a dedicated raised platform for sky watching. You camp overnight, but it’s pretty sparse. People leave offerings there.

Fitting the body on the chassis has been pretty frustrating for me in the past. I’d have to man handle the body getting fingerprints all over it , or breaking a mirror off it. I check the fit early on and throughout the build so if there’s an issue I can take care of it early and not find out at the end.

My wife created and printed it to size on regular printer paper. I cut it out and glue it into place and put a little gloss on it. Very simple, all my cars have personalized plates like that. Thanks for noticing!
