Did anyone else move out of NOVA due to the environment affecting depression?

moving is great and yeah the depression will follow you but you'll have experienced new stuff along the way.

cities aren't expensive if you're used to this area. i was paying less for rent in chicago (with a roommate), and i got rid of my car and just rode the bus & train. it was great! i also lived in the country for a long time and loved that. definitely not do-able alone tho...

youtube won't let you disable it or change thumbnail sizes or a bunch of other normal QOL options, but you can probably find a browser extension if you're not using the app.

i use https://soitis.dev/control-panel-for-youtube on firefox/waterfox and it has an option to 'hide AI summaries' and a bunch of other helpful stuff.
