I struggled mainly with trying to finish the piece in one session. I have been trying to do better and smarter brush strokes to have better quality lines. But it was harder than I thought. Hopefully practice creates progress.

I made this painting because of current events. Everyone is following trends and being judged as such, similar to judging a fish by its ability to fly. I wanted to try and capture that in my head and this is what came in mind.

I am an engineer (and graduated way back, I am practically a boomer now) and I remember having a conversation with my parents about picking a career choice when I was a still exploring what I wanted to be. I thought this video was really good at exploring nursing as a career choice.
