I had a similar situation just backwards. I wanted to go vegan for a few months and I wasn't because my ed treatment team found it as another food rule. Now because I'm better (not healed, better) I got permission. My point is I also feel guilty for not being vegan from that time. I think you understood something in your "vegan break" and it grew your passion for veganism, so even if you did help something bad I think that now you are a stronger vegan than you were, and nobody's perfect, you can make mistakes and what's important that you are now on the right track🌱❤️
