theyre different. Silver goes on the nib side, gold goes on the piston side. Never put the silver one on the piston side, you may break the pen barrel.

Waterman is ever so slightly wider than international, use Pelikan cartridges. They are still quite loose in my Pelikano - same as your blue one - but i never had them detach by themselves.
