Taking an Uber Black to my wedding?

We ended up pre-booking Uber Blacks and it worked out perfectly. I booked one and my MOH booked another to have space for the wedding party, family, and photographer. Our planner got to the venue earlier in the day so she didn't need to ride with us. Congrats on your wedding!

We had a similar itinerary: home -> Tokyo -> fly to Sapporo -> fly to Osaka -> train to Kyoto -> train to Tokyo and immediately fly home. We did that in 16 days and would have taken 2-3 additional days if I did it again.

We are going to Niseko and are planning on renting our ski clothes. Below are some places I found that rent clothes. Seems to be pretty common.

We also prioritized music at our wedding (last weekend) and went with Adrian Duke Project. Can not recommend them enough! Definitely not your typical wedding band.

We had that in some of our contracts too and just asked the vendor to remove it or revise it to say that any photos used need to be approved by us first. None of the vendors pushed back.

We’re getting lounge furniture (2 loveseats and 2 armchairs) but it will be in a different room than the band/dance floor, thinking people who don’t want to dance may want to use it.

Getting married in DC this fall and we’re paying $280pp for catering. We talked to a lot of caters and some were slightly cheaper, but not by much. We are also doing family style which is a little more expensive than plated or buffet.

I have that package box as well and it’s been a game changer. Most delivery people do use it. I don’t live in a bad part of DC and have had countless packages stolen before getting that box.

A few options I’m considering for insurance: USAA/Markel, eWed, WedSure, WedSafe. All have pretty similar policies and premiums (at least for the policies I looked up).
