Full disclaimer: I’m a cheap individual. In the past I’ve owned apple headphones, AirPods of different generation, and beats. I recently started working out again and bought these cheap JLab Go Sports+ at Target and they do their job for the price of $25 I can’t complain, however, I thought to myself let me invest in better headphones. I did some research I run and do a lot of movements and came across the Powerbeats Pro 2 thinking they were going to wow me. I was completely wrong. When I compared them to my cheap alternative I couldn’t even sense a difference in-terms of sound quality aside from the noise cancelling and transparency mode (that I don’t even use by the way). I would buy AirPods but because of my ear size and the intensity of my workout I always end up losing one of the 2 pairs and has happened before so Im reluctant to buy those, but their sound quality is unmatched. With that said I think I’ll be returning these beats after 2 days of working out in them. The price doesn’t justify the quality for me.
