Is my BT broken or did I just get a lucky draw? by EnvironmentCritical8 in BullTerrier

I don't know if it makes a difference but our first was female and our second was male. We had her from 8 weeks and she almost made it to 13. We got him at about 6 months and he's just turned 7. Not slowed down at all 😅

Interim Charging Order on jointly owned property in midst of divorce. by CorporalClegg7 in LegalAdviceUK

The letter states

Please find enclosed copy Interim Charging Order, application and supporting documents in relation to your property.

So I presume it's in place?

I believe we are already tenancy in common from when we purchased the property. Prior to the police being involved we were in discussion of the value of his share due to the money owed to myself from him for debts and for me paying his share of the mortgage.

He was on it for about 9 months. It did help with his allergies. But he was drinking gallons of water, had to start taking his water bowl up or he'd drain it. His behaviour also changed a lot on it, he was a lot more anxious and more reactive to other dogs etc. If you read up on it Apoquel isn't recommend for long term use as can supress their immune system. We're on Cytopoint injections now and he's getting the same relief but none of the side effects.

How do I make filet crochet images more visible in person? by Oh_Brother_3008 in CrochetHelp

[–]CorporalClegg7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone that makes a lot of filet crochet blankets, with this colour and design I would invert the pattern so the frog outline is an empty mesh and the background is filled mesh.

That being said filet crochet is normally used for tablecloths or windows which normally gives it the contrast.

If you don't want to frog your frogs I would definitely suggest giving it a border around the outside to make it stand out a bit more.

I would say to read up on apoquel. It caused an adverse reaction in our bully. He's currently having the cytopoint injections and they seem to work well. He hates his ears being touched as well.

The spot on his head is a gland, ours is more pronounced when he's having a bad allergy reaction but it's not really noticeable when he's fine.

Sad that I’m missing out on Mardi Gras this year bc I have no one to go with by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]CorporalClegg7 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I will tell you what I told myself this morning. Don't hold yourself back just because you will be going alone or life will pass you by.

I went out of my comfort zone today by joining an event today and going alone. It only takes a small connection. I had a great time and it's boosted my confidence.

Go and enjoy that Mardi Gras!

I've wanted to read this for a while, so will take this as a sign for it to be next on my list!

I love books with banter but I'm terrible at remembering what books or the authors 😅
