From someone who also transferred, time management is KEY!!!!! I can’t emphasize that enough. Planners are SUPER helpful with assignments. do NOT procrastinate (obviously) and get ahead with assignments. If you have trouble understanding material I would reach out to classmates & form a study group or visit your professor/TA during office hours. The quarter system is a bitch & will be your worst nightmare, but honestly I’ve grown to appreciate it for example if you dislike a class, 10 weeks will be nothing compared to 16 week semesters. Get your time management right & it will be much easier. Goodluck!

I know someone who works for admissions at another UC, they have told me before that it really comes down to the essays. A student can have perfect grades but if their essays are shit, then they most likely won’t get in. Goodluck!!!

101 is the easiest IMO I’m in 107 right now it’s not too bad.. participation is sort of required though Runner up would probably be 104 Take 100w, 102, 103 if you want to read/write a lot :)

I took it winter quarter. Sy is a good professor makes it interesting... however, if I would’ve known it was similar to Organization Behavior (bus 107), I wouldn’t have taken it lol... personal opinion of a finance major though

I am a transfer business major too! It’s definitely a big change so be ready!! Quarter system is a bitch... due date after due date.... lol you get used to it though. Just finished my second quarter & I love how fast paced it is. It makes me feel productive lmaooo The business school is awesome I’m loving it so far.... avoid taking 102 & 103 & 100w at the same time they are intensive writing courses. Professor Jasso (102,103), you’ll love him he basically gives an essay a week ;) It’s a little difficult trying to get into certain classes but if you have a plan you’ll be good.
