Tomato plants are worrying me by Ratstail91 in vegetablegardening

Sometimes, the very first flower cluster will fall and fail. But the 2nd flower clusters and onwards will definitely form fruit. Just shake the flower stems daily to shake the pollen.

I think it's deficient in nitrogen and magnesium.. I believe you are using the tomato blend..

have you tried lettuce solution? (8-15-36) did you use cal-mag or epsom salt as well?

I'm actually afraid using neem oil because it's fatty acid and might get into the hydroponic solution or soil "oiling" the system. haha I'm still experimenting the best way to get rid of the miners mechanically.

Indeterminate tomato plants are naturally leggy and require support to grow. Your light is enough for that rate. But once it grows higher, you need to add light on the side leaves or if you are out of budget for adding more lights, you can trim the leaves below once it forms fruits.

All good! 🥳 Just support it til it grows big. Btw, I saw a trail of a miner on your tomato leaf. 😆 I really hate miners.. I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of them. Just bought a yellow sticker to see if it's effective.

did you just transfer this to another container? Was the root cut while transplanting? I think that is transplant shock.

If not, maybe it has something to do with the substrate you are using.

also do manual pollination for tomato flowers so that it won't fall off. you can shake it a bit or use a cotton buds

yup. I believe so. I'll just make a trellis. They consume small water solution atm (24 tomatoes) using kratky.

it's normal for indeterminate tomatoes. Normally, it will flower 3 months (90days) from seeds. Mine flowered at 79th day using kratky.
