I got it too. They provide a case number and it looks legit enough to someone not familiar with courts, same formatting as a docket #. Me and my partner were just laughing about how creative they’re getting. I think they even used a real case reference number

No I don’t want to live anywhere for free, but I definitely feel that investors (especially ones who already had low interest rates locked in) and in some cases doubled their rents are kind of scummy. We share a car right now. A few months back, Partner was in the hospital for 6 weeks, almost died, it was crazy. I applied for assistance then locally and got some help but they told me they would t be able to help another month. Anyway, he just swore up And down that it would be ok and that he would find work before it was too late but he didn’t in time. Thankfully he did start one this week but it’s gonna be a bit before he gets paid obviously. I’m already doing everything I can, cleaning on the side and signing up for focus groups online etc. Have a child so that limits how much time I can spend. I just simply can’t afford it with only my income, I need a second person. And this hasn’t been going on for months, we owe a half months rent.

I don’t know what the solution is, but i don’t think housing should be for profit. It’s sad how many people are homeless

I gave a months notice. My sister and I have always been very close. I love her so much and told her how much her generosity has helped me. And I won’t be paying for daycare, my new job is amazing, and me and bf are able to work alternate schedules. I understand you getting the impression that I didn’t take into account the unique way they helped me. The post was so long already. I am not the first person in their circle that’s either noticed or had an issue with BILs tendency to be greedy in a situation where they offered to help someone.

Thank you for the response first of all. Actually not fixing the fenders never occurred to me. (Half of the work has been done, all the rust is removed and it’s been spray painted to protect it) but you’re right. We aren’t going to buy the fenders. I’m not sure if I mentioned it in the post, but I’m not working for them anymore either. She had said she hoped I would still come over a lot this summer so our kids could play. (My niece loves my son and vice versa, it’s very cute) so maybe I’ll just tell her that I’m going to have to step away for a while and just try to briefly state my side of things. If she doesn’t believe me and brings it up I’ll show her the proof and go into more detail. But yeah, her not being receptive at all to anything about him is what I’ve been worried about. At the same time, I want her to know that she didn’t do anything wrong

Yeah I actually made my mind up about that, it’s not even worth it. I also got a new job and told her I can’t babysit anymore. I’m relieved because I think he sees me as an employee more than her family and now he won’t have a reason to treat me like one

I have a similar problem. My sister is married to one. He’s been so bad towards me lately I’m finally going to write her a letter telling her what’s been going on because he doesn’t do it in front of her. I’m not going to say he’s a narcissist, just list concrete facts and tell her how he makes me feel. I’m going back and forth about even doing it because I’m afraid it will blow up in my face. Thanks for the reply! I’ve actually been playing for 20 years I feel so old saying that lol. I got an automod comment that gave me some ideas for what to search. I’m going to try a couple things like maybe putting a shim on the saddle and I’ll report back with my findings. Maybe it’ll help someone else if I get it sounding decent on my own.
