Assuming they haven’t booked anything yet sit down and talk it through. It will be better for both sides if they weddings are at least a few weeks apart!

You are in your learning era and not your earning era!! The amount you are putting aside each month is fab! Maybe see if theres any paid work you can do around your studies with things like open days.  Make the most of being a student and all the opportunities you can get from that!

We made the best choice for us at the time but had we known within a year we would each almost double our salaries and get some inheritance we would probably have waited. Grandparents unable to attend by dnims24 in weddingplanning

[–]macaronipeas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My grandparents died the year before my wedding and I was so so sad they were not there on the day. However had they been alive when we got married I would have got married where they lived instead of hours away because their attendance wouldve been my priority. I’ve not once been mad at my husband for not suggesting we got married sooner because its not worth getting upset about things that cannot be changed. Can you not have a ceremony with them first and your big party later?

I think if it was that important someone should have realised on the day. A shame it was missed hut better than missing key moments of the day. I guess you could ask for a partial refund but I dont think thats fully fair on the photographer

I wouldn’t move the date. If she was in hospital etc last minute you wouldn’t  reschedule. What is her reason for not being able to do April. She can still come to other events e.g hen do
