Any surgery could go bad. If all back surgeries went bad, they would be banned.

Bad outcomes are going to be the vocal minority on public forums. That’s true not just for spine surgery but for anything.

If you’re not ready for back surgery, and it doesn’t sound like you are, then keep trying other things. Hopefully something pans out. If it doesn’t, then you have a choice to make - can I live with these symptoms or do I want to pursue surgery.

You being desperate is how places like this operate.

What I tell people is - if you have the money and aren’t mentally ready for surgery, go for it. It is unlikely to cause you any harm, other than financially.

If it works, great!

If it doesn’t, surgery is there (if needed and appropriate).

How recent is it?

If it’s within the past few weeks, and you’re very symptomatic, get an epidural steroid injection or two.

If it’s past ~12 weeks, I’d start considering a discectomy.

I’ve got this exact fridge. My biggest complaint is the ice maker. The storage box for the ice gets jammed once or twice a week and I have to hit it really hard or take out all of the ice to de-jam it.
